Mr. Biboo
Complete animated series created as promotional material for Mr. Biboo, a brand of animal products that wanted to create original and engaging content to communicate with its audience. The series consisted of a dozen episodes, each with completely different settings and actions. The main character is Mr. Biboo, an apparently normal dog who loves pizza and hides a secret: a special power that allows him to transform into Super Biboo, a superhero who fights for good. The illustrations and characters were created by my colleague Giuseppe Tonello, with whom I worked as a team: he also handled the storyboard. The series combines elements of comedy, action, and adventure, creating a format that not only promotes products but entertains and engages the audience.
I managed rigging, animation, and post-production of the series. Illustrations, characters, and storyboard are by Giuseppe Tonello. I was responsible for the complete rigging of Mr. Biboo and all other characters, creating flexible animation systems. I created the animation for all episodes starting from Giuseppe's boards, managing the different settings and actions. I handled the complete post-production: color correction, visual effects, editing, and synchronization. I created the complete sound design (sound effects, music, dialogues) for a coherent audio-visual experience.
